This is the feature length version of "The DLJ Horror Show In Space" released last Halloween. This was always the way I intended for the Horror Show to be viewed. In all it's feature length glory. The Adventures of Perseus - The Clash of the Titans Musical Experience
The original Clash of the titans from 1981 is one of my all time favorite movies. This is one of those films that was always on t.v. when I was a kid so I probably have seen it over a 100 times or so. I actually didn't mind the remake either although this one is impossible to beat. i guess I like that they didn't try to beat the original. They changed enough to make it feel like it's own movie. i like when remakes do that. Well anyway, This short may sound like just another tribute to you, but I assure you I gave it the full DLJ Horror Show treatment. I always try to do my own thing with these films. Reinventing them without doing them an injustice. At least, thats what I strive to do. All of the DLJ's capture the essence of the movies being used. I feel like if you just wanted the movies themselves you could just watch them. My videos offer an alternative experience. A remix if you will. This one is no Exception. This is a short film starring a tortured man with many faces. You may know him as the actor Nicolas Cage. In his journey he is tortured, beaten, and romanticized. He also steals, kills, thrashes, sky dives, and battles with a biker bounty hunter. This one has everything. You'll laugh, cry, be disturbed and terrified. Sometimes, all at once. The feel good hit of the year is finally here!
